Chris is a licensed professional counselor that has been providing psychotherapy since 2015. In 2024 he became a neurofeedback practicioner to provide another tool in helping his existing clients and individuals who are looking for alternative ways of achieving more well being in their lives. He continues to pursue ongoing education and mentoring to complete BCIA certification.
In his time working with clients utilizing neurofeedback he has been privileged to see individuals experience progress in areas that they have felt “stuck”. With compassion he’s been grateful for the opportunity to witness clients learning to harness their brains’ natural ability to make changes toward more well being. He is continually amazed when clients are able to realize the potential inherent in all of us.
Chris works with older teens (16 and above) and adults. He provides neurofeedback amplitude training. This type of training can help individuals with numerous concerns including poor concentration, inattention, distractibility, spaciness/fogginess, lack of motivation, depression, lethargy, impulsivity, addiction, busy mind, anxiety/fear, tension, hyperactivity, agitation, sensory overload, and sleep problems. Chris also helps clients explore healthy habits that promote the effectiveness of neurofeedback training and accomplish their goals.
Chris is licensed in the State of Missouri and provides in-person neurofeedback in Columbia, MO. Stand alone neurofeedback sessions with Chris are typically 45 minutes. Traditional psychotherapy can be combined with neurofeedback as needed. A 90 minute intake session is required before beginning neurofeedback training.
